Twenty Twelve.

by practiceradicallove

Well, here we are…it’s 2012.  How did we get this far into time?  All I know is that for the first time in the past few years, my life feels comfortable.  A little less settling and complacency, more cozy with a hot toddy by the fire kind of comfortable.  To say that I’m diggin’ it would be a gross understatement.  It’s been a wonderful day so far…of course I made New Year’s Day brunch for Brian and I.  Then a little ride in the convertible (it’s still unseasonably warm here…argh) to pick up beer bottling supplies.  We bottled our first batch of beer today, a chocolate maple  porter.  Now, we wait 2 more weeks until we can drink it!  So much waiting involved with beer-brewing!

These potatoes are about to become homefries…yum!

An egg over-easy settled atop said yummy potatoes.  Spiced with rosemary, garlic, and a bit of garam masala.

A very sweet boy siphoning beer into bottles…yessss!!

I hope you all have had an incredible first day of twenty twelve…here’s hoping the apocalypse won’t get us.
