Perfect harmony….

That’s what life is lately…perfect harmony.  There have been many changes, but good ones, and I couldn’t be more thankful.  This is the season in which we, as a culture, are more in tune with what we’re thankful for, but really, shouldn’t we be thinking of this the whole year ’round?  The time to count our blessings shouldn’t be reserved for times when we’re more prone to be with family and friends, but every single day of our lives.  Not everyone has what we’re blessed with, and we’d do well to remember that.  I’m lucky that I have a family who wants to see me and spend time with me, that I have a grandmother who is still alive and is such a huge part of my life, that I have such a wonderful, supportive boyfriend who understands when I have to spend time studying and working instead of spending time with him.  I’m lucky to have a cat and a dog who give me so much joy, and lucky to be able to study nursing so that I can help others.  Joy is a relative term, and if we try hard enough, we can apply it to every aspect of our lives, even in times of sorrow and trouble.

So, here’s the holiday season, and each and every one of you, us, everyone…..I have love for you, may the holiday season smile upon you, and may every single day of your life be full of light, love, and blessings.
